WHERE WE CAME FROM

Paper LightBulb started in 2021 when our founder, Julia Smythe, decided to combine her loves for print design and all things fandom.

Deciding to create her own style of fandom merch, each design is painstakingly designed from scratch and screenprinted by hand on locally sourced garments.

Soon ideas flowed freely from her mind and she created our first completely non-fandom based range, the Ghosties!

 We love creating new content for our fellow geeks to consume but we also love to create for fandoms that perhaps arent given as much appreciation as we feel they deserve!

We are very careful about our environmental impact and for this reason, our shirts are 100% cotton, our hoodies can survive a yeart's worth of washes without pilling and our ink is water-based, not solvent based. Despite these factors, our designs are long-lasting and very durable!
